PARENTING THE SPIRIT
Parenting Children From a Spiritual Understanding
Gay Kalember, a retired Marriage, Family, Child Therapist, supervisor, and former lecturer-teacher at Sonoma State University, will present a preview of her parenting perspective. Gay specialized in childhood disorders and their treatments for over 20 years, and has based her techniques on spiritual understandings and truths about who children and adolescents really are, and what they ultimately need from their parents and community.
This introduction will allow you to preview her orientation to parenting so that you may determine whether or not you are interested in joining her 2-day workshop scheduled for the summer of 2012. The workshop is for those who have been seeking intelligent and successful solutions to parenting where none have previously existed. It is focused on practical applications that are sourced from deep spiritual understandings. It is extremely pragmatic, simple, and yet profound. You have probably never heard anything like it before. It works because it is based on truth, not false concepts designed to negate, control, and mold children. It is a bold and exhilarating perspective, not appropriate for people who are afraid to question and leave the world’s general consensus of right and wrong for children and their parents.
